Workbench and Shelves

Monday 072709 - I began the construction of a 8ft x 2ft wood workbench today. I also purchased the materials to hang some shelves on the wall of the workshop to store tools and supplies. The workbench is going to be a monster - 1.75 inches of MDF and hardboard make up the work surface - then enough 4x4's, 2x6's and 2x4's to adequately support the structure. It will make a nice sturdy base for the small bench grinder dedicated to sharpening the tungsten TIG electrodes, the belt/disc sander and the bench vise.
