Surface Table Finished

Saturday 071809 - We managed to get the surface plate on top of the base. Channing borrowed a Ford F550 flat bed truck that has a 3500lb miniature crane / hoist attached to it. It only took a few minutes to get the job done once the truck was in position. This was certainly the right tool for the job. Lifting the surface plate with a engine hoist would have been much more difficult. Its great to have friends with access to unusual tools - even better when they are willing to help out !!
