First tubesets arrive in the shop.....

I spent some time last week putting in my first orders with a tubing supplier and a dropout / braze on supplier.

That means that I have made a few decisions on the first few frames I plan to build up, and I have mostly completed the designs for them on BikeCAD.


I have decided to build up some around town bikes - using some beefy butted steel tubes from True Temper. I been wanting a bike to just ride around town, upright and comfortable, with enough wheel base and substance carry a little weight or pull a BOB trailer. I am going to try my hand at a large bike for myself and a small ladies step through. I will post up some drawings of those first few designs shortly.

I expect my frame building jig to be arriving this week, meanwhile - I have been logging more hours with the TIG torch...
