More setup tasks.....

I got the idea for this tube cleaning setup from the Frame Forum. I don't remember the name of the post - nor do I remember which frame builder was responsible but it seems like a great idea.

The idea is that each 3ft long PVC pipe will hold a different cleaner in this case - Simple Green (de-greaser), water, denatured alcohol, and denatured alcohol. The first denatured alcohol will get some water in it from the water bath - and the second will be almost completely alcohol. It is very important to get the tubes clean before TIG welding so I plan to first scrub the tubes with scotch brite, then soak them in the Simple Green, then wash them in the water then soak them for a while in the alcohol then wipe them off with a clean lint free shop towel.
It works well - at least for straight unbent tubes. I plan to clean the tubes prior to bending, then I can wipe of the outsides of the tubes after bending with denatured alcohol.
