Harvesting Steel..

Saturday 080109 - I spent a little time this afternoon harvesting some steel. There is a place I know of where there is a pile of abandoned old and mostly worn out bicycles. They have been discarded parted out and are ready for the dump truck. I was thinking that it would be nice to harvest some steel tubes from these discarded bikes to get some practice with the TIG welder. It didn't take long. I put a new blade in the cordless saws all - and cut up those tubes melted like butter.
